Collection: Spent Collection
The Spent Collection explores themes of use, repetition, waste and the traces objects leave behind. Each piece begins with a life-size replica of a spent or discarded item, reshaped and translated into recycled sterling silver. These objects are deliberately ordinary, often overlooked, but become sculptural and symbolic once realised in a material made to last.
Unlike the Core Collection, which focuses on wearable simplicity, Spent is more conceptual in nature. The forms carry the marks of their original objects: burnt edges, softened tips, warped lines, crumpled surfaces. Each pendant is a reminder of the unconscious habits we repeat, the temporary things we touch, and the permanence we rarely acknowledge.
All pieces are made individually in my studio in Scotland using traditional small-batch silversmithing techniques. The results are jewellery objects that feel more like artefacts — expressive, ambiguous, and open to interpretation. This collection will continue to evolve over time as I explore new materials, casts and ideas around consumption, transformation and memory.
