Adjustable Hammered Silver Ring

This adjustable hammered silver ring is handmade in recycled sterling silver using a narrow strip of metal with a softly textured surface. Each ring is shaped, textured, and finished by hand, giving every piece its own subtle variations and character.

The ring is made from a strip of sterling silver measuring approximately 1.2mm thick by 2mm wide, with the edges carefully rounded for comfort. A fine hammer texture runs along the surface, catching the light gently without feeling heavy or ornate. The interior is left smooth for everyday wear.

This design is adjustable, but intentionally so. Each ring is made in one of three base sizes — Small, Medium, or Large — corresponding to specific letter sizes J, N and Q rather than a single open-ended ring. This allows for a more secure and balanced fit while still offering a small amount of flexibility.

The ring can be adjusted slightly by hand to fine-tune the fit when you receive it. For longevity, the ring should be adjusted carefully when first worn and then left in that shape.

The Large size can be suitable for thumbs depending on hand shape, though fit will always vary from person to person. If you’re unsure which size to choose, selecting the closest base size to your usual ring size will give the best result.

As with all my work, this ring is made using recycled sterling silver sourced from a trusted supplier. The finish is intentionally understated, designed to be worn daily and to sit comfortably.

Please Note: This adjustable ring is not intended to be repeatedly resized or bent back and forth between different fingers or wearers. Sterling silver work-hardens over time, and repeated adjustment can weaken the metal and increase the risk of cracking or breakage. The ring is meant to be adjusted once to fit a specific size.
