This oxidised silver pillar pendant is part of my Core Collection — a simple, minimal design with a rugged, rough hammered texture. The silver is hand-oxidised to create a dark, matte surface, giving the gold detail a striking contrast and making the whole piece feel quietly bold.
Each pendant begins as recycled sterling silver and is shaped, soldered, textured, and oxidised by hand in my studio on the west coast of Scotland. The long, slim form is comfortable to wear, contemporary in profile, and designed to sit cleanly against the body without feeling heavy.
The hand-applied 24k gold detail softens the darkened surface and brings a warm highlight that shifts subtly in the light. Because every piece is textured and oxidised individually, each pendant has natural variation — the mark of intentional, small-batch making rather than mass-produced jewellery.
This oxidised silver pillar pendant pairs well with other pieces in the Core Collection or works as a standalone necklace for anyone who prefers understated jewellery with a bit more depth and contrast.

Jewellery Care
Jewellery Care
Sterling silver jewellery will naturally change over time with wear and exposure to air, moisture, and skin contact. To keep your piece looking its best, store it carefully when not worn and avoid contact with water, perfumes, and household chemicals.
Detailed care advice for sterling silver, including information on oxidised finishes and gold-plated areas, can be found in the jewellery care guide.
